Champion Moms
Champion Moms are women in the community committed to advancing the Network’s messages of consuming fruits and vegetables, being physically active, increasing food security and preventing chronic disease. In their homes and communities, Champion Moms demonstrate they care about their health and the heath and well-being of others.
"I am inspired by my children to live a healthier life and to help others be healthy, too. I want a good future for my family, and that includes being healthy." --Nelly Carrillo
Champion Moms are recruited from the seven counties of Mariposa, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings and Kern. To nominate a Champion Mom, call the Network for a Healthy California--Central Valley Region at (559) 255-4300.
