Overview
The Network for a Healthy California—Central Valley Region is one of 11 Regional Networks for a Healthy California. Our mission is to create innovative partnerships that empower low-income Californians to increase fruit and vegetable consumption, physical activity and food security with the goal of preventing obesity and other diet-related chronic diseases.
Our campaigns and programs target food-stamp eligible populations that are at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level in the following counties: Mariposa, Madera, Fresno, Kern, Kings and Tulare counties.
Funding for the Network for a Healthy California is provided by the USDA Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, an equal opportunity provider and employer.
